The sound of a person's voice strongly influences how they are seen. The sound of a speaker's voice matters twice as much as the content of the message. Researchers used computer software in order to analyze speakers' voices and collected feedback from the panel of 10 experts as well as 1,000 listeners.

Voice quality of the speaker has been accounted for 23% of listeners' evaluations. The content of the message has been accounted for 11%. Rest of the factors were the speaker's' knowledge, passion, and presence.

Although it is sometimes necessary for people to undergo voice surgery when they are in the prime of their career, there are specific conditions that may entail the need. Other people, particularly those afflicted with Mutational Falsetto or Puberphonia or the failure of the voice to drop from the higher levels after puberty, might also cause some self-esteem issues with patients if their voice isn’t corrected. Mostly this happens in men.

For transgenders, the voice surgery is one of the essential steps which they take in order to completely transform their people into the person they want to be.
