What is Neonatal Surgery?

Neonatal surgery This is a sub-specialty of pediatric surgery. Usually, a general surgeon can perform surgery on children and adults, however, the pediatric surgeons have the advanced education as well as skills that are necessary to perform surgery on very young children including infants. The Neonatal surgery is a surgical sub-specialty of pediatric surgery which consists of the surgical care of newborn babies, particularly ill or premature newborn infants.
