Hemodialysis which is also spelled as haemodialysis, is generally called as kidney dialysis or dialysis simply, it is a procedure of purifying the blood of a person whose kidneys are not functioning properly. Hemodialysis is one of the three renal replacement therapies (the two other are peritoneal dialysis and kidney transplant).
