Postnatal care is also called as PNC which is the care given to the mother and her newborn baby immediately after the birth and for the first six weeks of life. In postnatal contact of every stage, parents should be offered an information and advice to enable them to: Identify signs and symptoms of common health problems seen in babies. Assess their baby's general condition. Contact a healthcare professional or emergency service if it required.
