Dr. Prabha Sawant

Dr. Prabha Sawant is a highly reputed gastroenterologist with extensive clinical, academic, and research experience. She has over 46 years of experience in medicine and gastroenterology, including 38 years of teaching. She has guided 38 DM Gastroenterology students at Maharashtra University of Health Sciences (MUHS) and serves as a DNB Gastroenterology guide at Gleneagles Hospital, Mumbai since 2017. She specializes in the diagnosis, consultation, and treatment of a wide range of gastrointestinal conditions and has notable expertise in endoscopy. She has published more than 180 research papers, edited four monographs, and presented over 60 papers at national and international conferences.
