Dr. K S Nayak is a globally recognized nephrologist with over 40 years of experience in delivering world-class kidney care and transplant services. A pioneer in Peritoneal Dialysis (PD) in India and internationally, he specializes in deceased and living donor kidney transplantation, acute and chronic kidney diseases, critical care nephrology, liver dialysis (MARS, FPSA), and renal nutrition. His groundbreaking achievements include performing Andhra Pradesh’s first cadaver kidney transplant in 1996 and leading India’s first simultaneous heart and kidney transplant.
