Dr Abhay Kapoor has more than 19 years of experience in the field of Interventional Radiology. He brings in rich experience from KEM Hsp, Mumbai, Bombay Hospital, INHS Asvini, GB Pant Hsp, Delhi and Medanta, Gurgaon. He has been the Head of Interventional Radiology Deptt at RGCI, Delhi where he carried out the first same day TARE and first cryoablation for malignant breast lesion in the country. He excels in treatment of primary and secondary liver cancers using ablative techniques (RFA & MWA) and trans arterial therapies (TACE & TARE).
