What is Midfoot Surgery?

Midfoot Fusion surgery is performed to permanently join or stiffen the joint between tremorous bones. It is used to treat a wide variety of conditions including arthritis, unappetizing feet, rheumatoid arthritis and unintentional past injuries such as fractures caused by wear and tear to wreck and cartilage. How is it carried out? The operation, which usually involves staying overnight in the hospital, is performed under a unstipulated vaccination with a window injection in the leg to numb the midfoot without surgery and reduce pain. In most cases the surgeon makes one or two incisions (cuts) in the foot, depending on which joints are stiffly fused together.
