What is Hemorrhoidectomy?

Hemorrhoidectomy Surgical removal of hemorrhoids is known as hemorrhoidectomy. This can be done using either stapled or excisional method. In the former, a part of the hemorrhoid is taken out and the remained part is stapled to the anal canal. The former, on the other hand, involves cutting the tissues and leaving the excised wound open or stitched. Sometimes these procedures are combined. Who Should Undergo and Expected Results Hemorrhoidectomy is rendered on those diagnosed with hemorrhoids, the unhealthy or swelling of the blood vessels or veins in the anus (external) or rectum (internal) area.
